.50 Beowulf
Overview
The .50 Beowulf is a 12mm magnum rifle cartridge designed to greatly increase the lethality of the AR-15 platform at close to medium ranges. It is advertised as a great cartridge for civilians wanting to hunt large game or for military/police conducting CQB or even checkpoint duty, with the round be almost etirely undisturbed by most common barriers such as windscreens and body panels.
