Situation At 0930 hours on the 17th of August, 2021, Site-232 perimeter security spotted movement directly east of the main entrance. The movement was an approaching envoy of the Knights Templar, sent to deliver an ultimatum: hand over several anomalous items, or be attacked. The envoy then returned to a nearby Templar staging area, which appears to have been recently constructed with the sole intent of raiding Site-232. It has come to our attention that artifacts of great importance are present within this facility, of which we are the rightful guardians. As such, we have come to this desolate island and established ourselves in preparation to retrieve these items! However, force will only be used if we are forced to use it. Should you agree to the following terms, there will be no bloodshed.   Senior Officer Secunda: What are the terms?   Officer Liam Soule: (quietly) This fucking guy, what is this? The renaissance?   Senior Officer Secunda: (quietly) Shut the fuck up, Soule!   Senior Officer Secunda: What are the terms?    [Unidentified Envoy]: You have two peaceful options. On my person is a tablet with a list and photographs of each individual item. You may take this list and gather them up, then place them safely outside the front gate and allow us to take them. Alternatively, you can simply open the gate and allow one of our teams to enter the facility and retrieve the items. You have twelve hours to decide on a method of compliance.   Senior Officer Secunda:  Soule, get the Site Director. RIGHT NOW!   Officer Liam Soule:  Yes sir!   [END OF TRANSCRIPT] The tablet provided had a list provided on the notes section of the device. Notably, the device was in fact a Samsung phone and not a tablet. Thorough scans through the device reveal nothing of note beyond the factory default applications. A screenshot of the note is provided (right). Site-232 Director Hamilton declared an emergency request for assistance (ERFA) within 20 minutes, appealing directly to Site-231 for our immediate help. However, all Tau-44 combat forces are either occupied elsewhere or - as you're well aware - undergoing post-engrammatic recovery. As such, Site-232 has extended their ERFA to the Regional Director, and remain completely unwilling to negotiate or surrender to the Templar forces. Armed Rapid Response Task Force Xi-13 responded to the call, deploying to Zone-51 and immediately erecting a defensive line between Site-232 and the identified Knights Templar staging area. At 22:07, Xi-13 was engaged by an estimated 80-strong force identified as mercenaries from the Caliburn Security Services Company (CSSC), led by 4 elite Knights Templar in powered combat armour. The firefight lasted over five hours, ending at 03:20 and resulting in Xi-13 suffering a 60% casualty rate and inflicting near-total casualties upon the enemy - only a single Knight was known to have escaped after. However, ISR monitoring of Templar activity abroad has made Xi-13 aware of an additional full battalion's worth of Templars and Caliburn mercenaries already in transit to the Zone-51 AO - having likely predicted Site-232's rejection of the ultimatum and set off in advance. Xi-13 has now also declared an elevated state of emergency has requested reinforcements, as after totalling casualties they have been reduced to 16 effective strength, leaving them perilously close to being easily overrun. 2nd and 3rd Company, 1st Battalion, MTF Nu-7 "Hammer Down" are now preparing for immediate deployment to assist. Their time to arrival is at least 72 hours on account of logistics, mainly due to being spread relatively thin dealing with numerous other ongoing scenarios which have now been deprioritised. To alleviate the possibility of the Site-232 defensive line being overrun and the loss of Xi-13, and to help keep the situation stable for long enough to Nu-7 to arrive, Tau-44 will enact expedited post-engrammatic recovery procedures and field Detachment One immediately. Groups of Interest The Holy Order of the Knights Templar, Reformed Caliburn Security Services Company Mission & Execution Workup - 21/08/21 Detachment One, Tau-44 are to gear up and prepare for deployment. This work up is time for everyone to make kits, test them and work with their team on any aspects of teamwork that may need improving. Additionally this is time to ask any operational questions and determine the minute details of the operations' execution. Phase 1 Overview Detachment One are to rapidly deploy and assist Rapid Response Task Force Xi-13  in securing Site-232 until 2nd and 3rd Company, 1st Battalion, MTF Nu-7 'Hammer Down' arrive en masse to take over the defence efforts.  Phase 1-A - 29/08/21 Xi-13 has taken the opportunity to push their defence further from Site-232 following the initial assault and are now situated relatively southeast of Site-232. In the meantime, Templar forces have taken the initiative to secure an abandoned Foundation airfield further southeast of Xi-13's new position. Detachment One will select appropriate ground combat vehicles and transport themselves to the Xi-13 defensive line, utilising the transportation beam to speed up initial deployment. Once there, Tau-44 are to push forward, conducting force reconaisance and deploying mines and traps. If Tau-44 identifies any advancing enemy forces, they are to retreat to the defensive line to prepare for contact; if not, they should continue advancing and attempt to personally reconnoiter the Templar staging area. Phase 2 Overview Once Nu-7 arrives, Tau-44 will move to Phase 2, switching to the offensive and assisting Nu-7 with pushing Templar forces off the island. Tau-44 will act in a familiar recon and surgical strike capacity, hitting targets of importance - behind enemy lines if necesesary - in coordination with Nu-7's efforts. Phase 3 Overview Once Nu-7 have the Templars on the back foot, Tau-44 is to pivot to assisting with the defense and extraction of all Site-232 personnel and artifacts. Once those have been securely transported out of the AO, Site-232 is to be decommissioned until such time as a new use for it can be determined. Administration/Logistics Administration Rules of Engagement: Fire-at-will. Any and all targets identified as Templar or Caliburn forces are to be terminated with extreme prejudice. Prisoners of War, Enemy Prisoners of War:  Any individuals who surrender, are injured or incapacitated are to be ██████ ██ █████, no medical assistance is to be provided . [REDACTED BY THE ETHICS COMMITEE FOR REVIEW] Casualty Evacuation: CASEVAC will be available and on standby 24/7, operating out of Site-232. Logistics Resupply: Full access to Site-231 armory and logistics will be available. Airborne, teleported and ground resupplies will be available throughout the entirety of the operation, assuming supply lines are not cut off and air superiority is maintained. Fire Support: Small bore artillery in the form of 82mm Mortars are available at Site-232, however their munition supplies are severely limited due to the nature of the site not being that of a military facility. Orbital laser strikes will be available every 60 minutes. Upon arrival of Nu-7 there will be 6 A-10 Warthogs on 24/7 standby, naval artillery, gunships and drone strikes. Reinsertion: Teleportation will be available every 60 minutes after initial usage Aerial reinserts by plane or helicopter will be available at all times, flying out from Site-231. Once Nu-7 arrives it is suggested that helicopter bases and forward operating bases are setup to expediate these reinserts. Loadout Considerations: Zone-51 consists of sparsely-vegetated, wide-open terrain, with numerous open fields surrounded by plateaus at various heights - sight lines can be very long. Hostiles are universally equipped with ceramic small-arms protective inserts, with some hostiles utilising suits of powered armour. Weapons platforms with high armour-penetration capabilities and good long-range ballistics are strongly suggested. 2x Laku 25mm Light Recoil Anti Materiel Weapons (LRAMW) have been made available for usage should they be needed to counter the hostile powered armor suits. 4x Exo-skeletons are also available, recovered from deceased Xi-13 operatives. They can be used to enhance important roles such as machinegunners or medics - reducing fatigue. Training Considerations: N/A Gameplay Considerations: Respawns will be on a 10 minute timer with spectator enabled, however there will be the option to "upload engrams" which will reduce the respawn timer to 15 seconds. Uploading the engrams will take 60 seconds to do and will take the uploader out of the fight for the duration of the upload. Between mission loadout changes will be available for every op due to the proximity to Site-231 and the steady flow of supplies. OPERATION PHEONIX FLIGHT OPERATION PHEONIX FLIGHT     TOP SECRET       War on Terror – Afghanistan Strategic Situation Terror attacks against the US has led to a swift invasion of Afghanistan, this has allowed the Foundation unprecedented access to the country, whereas previously hands were tied by international pressures. The area where the US 10th mountain division is applying large amounts of pressuer is the region between Badghis and Bala Murghad. this region is colloquially known as Lythium due to the large deposits and industry that has sprung up around them. It is also the site of black ops conflict conducted during the Soviet - Afghan War in the 80's. The Foundation during their regular investogations of security networks happened across reports that lead us to believe there is an anomalous presence in the Lythium valleys (See attached Appendices).   Operational Situation MTF Tau-44 has been attached to 10th Mountain division in their assault on AO PHEONICIAN in the Lythium region, while they will be assisting in the pacification of the region the primary objective is to investigate reports of anomalous activity related to an unknown pathogen. While reports are not identical to that of 20 years ago there is evidence of unusually sturdy soldiers operating in the Town of Arobster. If there is any evidence of organised involvement of such soldiers they will be found in one of the FOB's, as such Tau-44 has been tasked with a flanking attack and assault of one such site. British intelligence has provided satellite imaging to all allied forces operating in the area.   ( S-FVEY ) UK Milsat Image of AO PHEONICIAN 01 1435G October 13. ( S-FVEY ) TAOR EIDOLON.   Phase 1 – TAOR EIDOLON   Situation - Terrain Observation – Large hills give a commanding view of the battlefield. Cover – Dense urban terrain provides cover for both allied and enemy forces. Obstacle – There are no natural obstacles that obstruct movements. Key Terrain – Surrounding hills a minaret and several tall buildings all will provide solid positions for bases of fire. Avenue of approach – Tau-44 will approach from the south to storm a portion of the town.   Situation - Enemy (Jihadist) Size – 1000+. Activities – Defending against NATO forces. Locations – Two FOB's, one handled by the US 10th Mountain Division and one for us to . Units – Middle eastern militia, no known regular forces in the area. Potentially 'enhanced' troops. Tactics – Unknown, likely to be defensive in nature. Equipment – AK Variant weaponry, hunting rifles and submachine guns. APC’s, IFV’s and Technicals. Habits – Enemy known to utilise IED's, Suicide Bombers and mortar strikes on allied positions should they be close to losing a given fight.. Intention – Unknown. Morale – High.   Situation US 10th Mountain will be approaching from the east with an armoured and mounted company, armour will hang back until absolutely needed as destruction of the town is to be kept to a minimum. However should fighting be too fierce mortars and CAS can be called in through the Directors authorisation, such support will fire only on RED SMOKE.   Mission Tau-44 is to CLEAR designated areas of the town, DESTROY enemies IVO the FOB and SEARCH for intel IRT reported anomaly. Phase 3 – Hoplite 1-1-A and 1-1-B are to clear to Phase line 3 under the cover of Fire from Hoplite 1-1. Phase 4 – Hoplite 1-1-A and 1-1-B are to clear to FOB under the cover of Fire from Hoplite 1-1. Locations – Enemy forces to be expected all throughout the red zone. Units – Middle eastern militia, no known regular forces in the area. Potentially 'enhanced' troops. Tactics – Unknown, likely to be defensive in nature. Equipment – AK Variant weaponry, hunting rifles and submachine guns. APC’s, IFV’s and Technicals. Habits – Enemy known to utilise IED's, Suicide Bombers and mortar strikes on allied positions should they be close to losing a given fight. Intention – Unknown. Morale – High.   Situation The US Infantry cleared the rest of south Arobster and uncovered the Intel that O4 had sent Tau-44 after. They have shared this with us at least in part and found a number of potential sites that house المحاربين الموهوبين which translates to ‘Gifted Warriors’. US SOCOM believes this is where enemy special forces have been stationed, we however believe that these soldiers are the remnants of Russian experimentation and are likely to be enhanced with the anomalous pathogen. So far we do not believe it is contagious however efforts should be made to eliminate all enemies suspected to be infected at ranged and burn their corpses, should samples be returned for examination this could prove useful. 10 th Mountain Division are experiencing intense fighting across the southern borders of the city and in Arobster and as such can not provide support outside of an A10 that will be on station and a UH-1 transport helicopter at the airfield. If the mission cannot be complete or goes awry all forces are to retreat south back to Iban Base Camp. Morale – Unknown.   Situation The report by Hoplite 1-1 section leader has prompted O4 council to order the capture of the Prophet and any Kandar villagers. Once again retrieval of the corpses of Sons of Kandar or those that are affected by the pathogen are top priority. The Sons of Kandar are most likely the Gifted Warriors mentioned in Phase 2, very small amounts of them may had been encountered but due to the ferocity of firefights recovery of the bodies has been impossible, as such we will be striking Kandar itself. Hoplite 1-1 Section Leader AAR is attached in the Appendix of this briefing, see below. Kandar is currently home to 351 people about half of which are fighting age males, the population in 1981 when first anomalous activity was recorded was roughly 1600 people. We suspect they know that we are coming and will have moved any civilians away. Research into census records along with travel information, death records and birth certificates has shown that there have been only 24 deaths but around 3480 births over the 20 year period to date. The standard birth rate for Afghanistan is 4.7%, however the birth rate in Kandar appears to be at 11%. A large portion of the population has fled the country, the records here are much harder to follow and more research by our analysts will be needed before we can ascertain the exact number and whereabout of the potential infected individuals. The US 10 th Mountain Division had already sent a recon element to investigate Kandar, most likely off of the information in the intelligence found in Arobster, but after radioing in saying that a localised electrical storm had formed over Kandar and that their NVG’s had stopped working they came under assault. The recon element’s final transmissions are transcribed in the Appendix Section of this briefing, see below. Due to the unknown electrical phenomena that may be present any electrical hardware will need to be avoided, similarly vehicles are prohibited from approaching within 2km’s of the village. Support assets will be unable to assist either, due to this TAU-44 will need to strike quickly, snatch any civilians and the Prophet and leave, any Sons of Kandar that are injured can be tied and carried out. It is imperative that our forces do not get bogged down in a firefight. The Prophet is theorised to be a man named Nikolai Vlasov, son on Dmitriy Vlasov the scientist which was extracted by Commonwealth forces in 1981. Dmitriy spent 10 years incarcerated before being released, he was under a travel ban for a further 5 years before he disappeared. Records show that he landed at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul 1997 where he was met by his son who he had with a local woman. Dmitriy returned to Kandar until June 2000 where he travelled to Moscow and was killed in a shooting, a shooting that was suspected to be a government sanctioned hit. He was survived by his son Nikolai who by age 19 had attained a masters degree in physics and genetics. Nikolai Vlasov has received training in weapons and tactics by Taliban forces in Afghanistan and along with his intelligence should be apprehended very carefully. Caution is advised when travelling north as it is still a hotly contested area, MikisFOB is only loosely US held and anywhere north of that is not to be considered friendly territory, as such insertion by chopper to STAGING AREA is permitted with vehicles to follow once TAU-44 is on mission.   Mission Tau-44 is to ingress into Kandar and retrieve Nikolai Vlasov along with as many civilian prisoners as possible. Shortly after a massive energy reading was recorded before all communications from the site went dark. Drones show no movement and no light sources. The US has mobilised a brigade to investigate the area and will arrive in FIVE HOURS however due to the known presence of SCP-12062 in the area Tau-44 will need to arrive and investigate first. No ionisation is measured around Kinduf Airbase though large reading appear to be emanating from the East. Given the level of energy recorded it is expected that multiple instances of SCP-12062-3 may be present and that they have caused a large amount of ‘reality tearing’. To combat this we have requisitioned a Three-Stage Thermonuclear (3-STNW) devise consisting on Fission, Fusion and Antimatter catalysation reactions. Our analysts believed this should be enough to collapse any unstable doorways into SCP-12062’s home reality that SCP-12062-3 may have caused. Due to electronic and radio disturbances a timer will need to be set on an M112 Demo Block which will be used to trigger the 3-STNW. Efforts will be made to have the blame fall on insurgent actions in the area. The 3-STNW will be airlifted into Kinduf during your patrol and will need to be moved to the Lithium Refinery over land. The US military vehicles at Kinduf should be hardened against electronic warfare and as such some should still function as a transport for both infantry and the 3-STNW. Situation Zone 29, a noosphere interface area, is one of the many such zones not held by the foundation. Zone 29 in specific, is held by the Global Occult Coalition, of which is currently conducting research on the island.  Society of the Atheists Partisans of Progress for the Halt of the Irrational and Religious Enemy or SAPPHIRE for short is the GOC member state responsible for the research efforts on the islands pecifically their Zetetic Investigation, Rational Cognition and Oddities Negation division of whom are investigating the island, based on our intel they are attempting to "debunk" the anomalous nature of the island - evidently unsuccessfully so far. SAPPHIRE is financing a force of mercenaries to provide security on the island from Cyngi Industries, a private military company and weapons development/research corp.  Until recently, Zone 29 has been quiet, however at 09:00 hours this morning it has suddenly exploded into conflict. Several airships carrying Chaos Insurgency forces  landed on the islands northern airfield, capturing it within minutes. Since then CI forces have captured several GOC installations. The GOC and CI are locked in a vicious stalemate at this time and in the interest of the foundation, it is paramount that neither side retain ownership of the island. At this time is is unknown what exactly the CI want, intel suggests they have several thaumaturge's present. Whether they are there to steal something or attempt to interface with the zone is unknown. Spartan and Vandal teams are tasked with completing the following objectives: - Eliminate Chaos Insurgency Thaumaterge's - Eliminate Cyngi & Sapphire leaders - Capture SAPPHIRE scientists - Capture North and South West airfields - Capture all 3 research facilities You will be deploying from two seperate naval assets. Spartan will be deploying from NU-Horrowitz and Vandal will be deploying from NU-Mozart. Spartan will insert with Praetorian on the northeastern beach, move to height 239, and obliterate the CI HQ with extreme prejudice. Spartan will then boat northwest to the airstrip and see about capturing or at least neutralising the airstrip. Once those two objectives are done Spartan will then proceed south via helicopter, debarking northeast of height 744 (near Trosky CI position) and proceed to wreak havoc in a southbound direction. Meanwhile Vandal will insert in two locations - one part on the eastern shore of the southern inlet (south of Velka Ves), pushing north in search of CI thaumaturgists to assassinate. The other half will beach somewhere south of SAPPHIRE Research facility, sneaking in to investigate, search for intel, and capture the location before then proceeding to the next facility. From there they will then proceed to the SAPPHIRE HQ investigate, search for intel and keep your eyes open for assassination targets of significant opportunity (important looking, easy to kill and slip out afterwards).  The team tasked with the elimination of the thaumaturgists will be issued specially tuned spectrum devices for tracking anomalous individuals. Enemy Composition Cyngi Industries Cyngi Industries mercenaries are primarily drawn from ex-Japanese Self Defence Force Special Forces. Cyngi equips their mercenaries with exo skeletons and a "powered kinetic barrier suit", Kinetic barriers are rated to stop 20 rounds of 7.62x51 at point blank. Essentially a tight suit that has an energy shield system. Additionally, they are the manufacturer of the Hazardous EnVironment Helmet (HEV), the helmet briccky is known for wearing. As well as the Electro Magnetic Rail Gun-10, the first commercially available man portable railgun. They are well equipped and well trained. Roughly 300 mercenaries are known to be present as well as four Cyngi Mark 4 Defender mech suits.                                         Chaos Insurgency The Chaos Insurgents present on the island. They are not the same as the ones we encountered on Taviana. They appear to have received and upgrade, its likely that CI is deploying the best they have based on what they knew they would be facing. We only knew they were CI because they said so themselves, demanding that Cyngi and SAPPHIRE surrender and leave. Now they possess no special vehicles or scary tech, beyond their ability to cloak for 10 seconds. Standard issue rifle is the G56, no exo suits and just relatively resistant traditional body armor. The helmet is an unknown variable as its origin or make is unknown, however it can be assumed to function similarly to the smart helmets we are used to. Other Intelligence Intercepted communications suggests that storms of varying intensities have been occurring, mainly after direct engagements between forces. Nothing remotely as intense as our home turf, zone 51 but still dangerous notheless. Command is theorising that the reason the Chaos Insurgents identified themselves and demanded surrender, likely wanting to avoid bloodshed leading to storms. Situation On the 3rd of April, Site ██ was attacked by local Altis Armed Forces. All site staff were killed and artifacts relating to SCP-████, the sites sole SCP, were stolen. Until two days ago, the artifacts had seemingly disapeared despite the foundations best attempts to relocate them. However that has since changed, O4 has caught wind of a deal going down between an unknown buyer and a local AAF Colonel by the name of Nikolaos Doukas.  Likely due to the attack on the site being unsanctioned by his higher ups, it appears that Colonel Doukas has employed a local black market dealer to conduct the sale of the artifacts. Based on the information gathered by a local MTF Operative K, it appears that the dealer will meet with the buyer in a secluded location at which point they will make their way to the artifacts location. Colonel Doukas always wears a blue Ushanka hat. The appearance of the Black Market dealer is unknown, the appearance of the buyer is unknown. Mission & Execution Hoplite 1 is tasked with the assassination of Colonel Doukas, the black market dealer and the buyer - as well as the retrieval of the artifacts. Hoplite 1 will be split into 3 teams, two sniper teams callsigned Striker 1 and Striker 2 and a ground team which will retain the Hoplite 1 callsign.  Striker 1 will be tasked with the location and elimination of Colonel Doukas, Striker 2 will be tasked with the elimination of the Blackmarket Dealer and the buyer. Striker 2 must first locate the whereabouts of the artifacts first however, as such Striker 2 will be required to overwatch the deal and trail the dealer and buyer to the artifacts location, eliminate them both from a range and then notify Hoplite 1 of the location. Hoplite 1 will be tasked with the extraction of MTF Operative K which Striker 1 and 2 conduct their tasking. Once completed, Striker 2 will transmit the location of the artifacts, at which point Hoplite 1 is to move in and retrieve the artifacts. Situation At 03:00 hours on the 30th of March, all activity on the island of Taviana ceased. The abnormality of this caught the Foundation's eye, and as such they immediately began monitoring the island. For seven days nothing was observed - however, on the eighth day, a number of KA-60 helicopters were recorded landing on the island. An undetermined number of individuals disembarked from the helicopters and seemingly proceeded inland. What happened on the island is unknown - no distress calls were sent out prior to the sudden blackout, and no abnormal activity was observed leading up to the blackout. However, Taviana is known to have strong ties with the Russian Federation and the Foundation suspects that the island is possibly being used for the storage and testing of the recently captured SCP-███ and SCP-████ by GRU Division P - this is, however, unconfirmed. In the event that the Foundations suspicions are correct, it is imperative that they be contained immediately. Due to the potential of an anomalous event having taken place, and an unknown group of individuals moving into the area, the O4 council has called for MTF Tau-44 to immediately deploy to the region and investigate what exactly is happening on Taviana. Situation (AO Background) Taviana, Baltic Sea Overview Capital: Sabina Official Language(s): Lithuanian, Russian and Polish Population: ~1.5 Million Size: ~25km 2 Taviana (Officialy: Tavianska Sovjetskaja Socialističiskaja Respublika - TSSR - The Soviet Socialist Republic of Taviana) is an island country situated in the Baltic Sea approximately 120km off the coast of Lithuania or Kaliningrad. It has a population of approximately 1.5 Million inhabitants of who 90% are ethnic Slavs called Rustakiâ, Russians or Poles and 10% ethnic Lithuanians. The capital and second largest city of the republic is Sabina which is located on the Southern coast of lake Umag, Sabina has a population of approximately 150 000 and has the republics main international airport. Taviana consists of three large islands. The main island being called Novistrana, the southwestern island Karelski, the northwestern island Baltskaya and several other small islands that are dotted around the surrounding sea. The primary economic resource of Taviana is its enormous oil reserves thanks to its extensive offshore oil desposits. Due to this resource, Russia and Taviana have maintained a strong relationship since the collapse of the Soviet union, trading weapons, technology and currency for oil. Taviana maintains an army of 22,000 full time volunteer soldiers and an additional 650,000 possible reserves due to the country maintaining mandatory service for all males. Additionally, Russia maintains a garrison of 8500 marines from the VMF (Russian Navy) on Taviana at all times.  Groups of Interest The Soviet Socialist Republic of Taviana Army (SSRTA) GRU Division P Mission & Execution By request of the O4 Council, TAU-44 is to rapidly deploy to the island of Taviana and conduct a full scale investigation of the current situation on the island and determine who is currently present on the island.  The primary objectives of this investigation are as follows: Establish the current condition of Taviana's population. Identify the unknown military forces which have inserted onto the island. If possible attempt to communicate with them. Acquire seismic and radioactivity activity records from the islands monitoring stations. Acquire any and all data relating to Tavianan/Russian military and government cooperation from government buildings and military installations. Identify any anomalous entities or activity on the island. Tertiary Objectives include: Establish a secure location to establish a forward operating base. Apprehend any Tavianan civilian or military personnel and return them to the newly established FOB. Detachment One will be deployed to Taviana via codename Submarine Alpha-6 'Deus Belli', a submarine provided by Nu-7 for the duration of this operation. Alpha-6 will anchored at the area indicated by the red X . Detachment One will insert onto the mainland via inflatable craft, any land vehicles will need to be found on the ground.  Detachment One must then find a location to establish a forward operating base. Once the FOB has been established, Detachment One can then commence their investigation. Administration/Logistics Administration Rules of Engagement: Weapons Hold is to be employed until otherwise stated directly by command. Avoid direct conflict unless absolutely nessecary. Prisoners of War, Enemy Prisoners of War:  Any captured individuals are to be returned to a safe location for retrieval when appropriate, or moved to the forward operating base. Casualty Evacuation:  No external CASEVAC is available. Infield casualty treatment plans are to be established by Detachment One. Logistics Resupply:  Direct supply lines between Alpha-6 and the FOB will be established to ensure constant flow of required equipment to Detachment One. However, if Detachment One is unable to return to the FOB or Alpha-6, aerial resupply via UAV will be available - be aware that drones are only capable of carrying small amounts of equipment meaning complete restocking of equipment in the field is impossible. Fire Support:  Alpha-6 is armed with 4x Cruise missiles. They will be available for usage at any point during the operation. Use them wisely. Reinsertion:  By foot or by vehicle. No alternate transportation methods will be provided. Loadout Considerations:  Average clear sightlines are ~600m. Absolute maximum sight lines are upwards of ~8km. Usage of overwatch teams with medium to heavy weapons could be considered.  Average travel time between settlements is ~10 minutes on foot. Terrain is primarily alpine tundra with a mixture of light and dark greens sprinkled with snow.  (FOR COMMANDER: Arsenal changes may be requested, changes of available camo patterns and other items are acceptable.) All loadouts will need to be built, approved and sent to the zeus a minimum of 4 hours prior to the operation. Failure to send loadouts prior to 2pm Sunday will result in the individual being given a generic loadout with only the bare nessecities.  Training Considerations: Naval/boat training. Updates to OPFOR and ROE Following the events of Wednesday 14th, there are now FIVE identified factions in the campaign area. CI (Chaos Insurgency) presence in the area of operations is confirmed. We also now have definitive proof that they are using the beams of light (i.e. the "rapture" effect) to teleport personnel and materiel around. It's currently suspected that this costs them significant resources, as they appear to be capable of teleporting anyone or anything (including MTF personnel), but have refrained from doing so outside of one single event. So far they have demonstrated the capability to teleport light armoured vehicles, personnel, AND explosive payloads - the latter being used offensively to corral retreating MTF in one instance and destroy buildings in other instances. All operators should be prepared to deal with any threat emerging from a teleport site. CI have assaulted GRU Div P positions, including the location TAU-44 was going to meet with the GRU Commander, and have demonstrated a propensity for gruesome executions via exposure to synthetic light. ROE remains UNIVERSAL across the board until further notice. We don't know if there are any GRU left on the island. One of our operators, who was temporarily abducted by CI forces (via their teleportation beam), reported that the enemy tried to make him give up the location of "Sector D". Publicly available maps do not show any such site - only sectors A and B are known. This also implies the possible existence of a Sector C, whether or not that is relevant to us. Whatever CI want, we most likely will need to deny them. Retrieving any information on the location of Sector D, or what we might find there, is top priority. Our retreating forces were attacked in force by SSRTA as they moved from the south-eastern Dubovo airport north to the FOB, right around the town of Sevestapol. SSRTA appear to be there with decent numbers and the presence of an operational MBT indicates they have resources and possible working infrastructure. Getting our hands on those will be beneficial to us, but more importantly they may have information on Sector D or CI, and we know that CI have the capability to assault them as well. Though they were nominally cooperative with the Russians, with no GRU left to tell them to cooperate, we're going to have to take what we can by force before CI try something similar. The current state of OPFOR and ROE As of Sunday 20 June, there are five known factions operating in the campaign area. Chaos Insurgency (CI, a.k.a. "red eyes") - SHOOT ON SIGHT CI is the primary threat actor in the sphere of operations. CI fields elite operators equipped with modern upper-tier body armour and weaponry, and are familiar with MTF procedures and doctrine. CI have demonstrated extreme ruthlessness and have been observed in conflict with almost all other factions in the campaign area. Other hostile factions - ENGAGE WHEN NECESSARY The Soviet Socialist Republic of Taviana Army (SSRTA) is a coordinated but poorly equipped conventional volunteer/career military force, mostly scattered and without strategic leadership since the originating incident. Utilising decades-old Russian surplus military equipment and uniforms, easily identifiable by their steel helmets, SSRTA have been encountered thus far in isolated pockets of organised (usually fortified) resistance, and have been the main source of armoured opposition outside of CI. See entry: The Soviet Socialist Republic of Taviana Army (SSRTA) Conscripts/Ex-army (bandits) are not a single coordinated faction as far as we know, rather loose collections of civilian militia, non-uniformed and armed with either hunting or surplus military issue rifles. All local military aged males are expected to have served in the army as conscripts, and pose a threat in large numbers or as isolated guerilla fighters. Non-hostile factions - DO NOT FIRE UNLESS FIRED UPON GRU Division "P" is Russia's official anomaly containment specialist division. "Officially" disbanded in 1991 along with the Soviet Union, but operating openly ever since Lifted Veil, Div P are highly trained, well equipped operators. Tau-44 nearly established positive contact with their commander, but were prevented due to intervention by CI. Initial contact with this faction was hostile. Later on they claimed this was due to mistaking Tau-44 for Chaos Insurgency, possibly on account of our gas masks and similar equipment standards. See entry: GRU Division "P" Russian Airborne Forces (VDV) are known to have extended some air superiority over the campaign area and have conducted bombing runs in some locales. Some minor communication was established via liaison with Div P operators but Tau-44 have no positive contact with the VDV at this time. They are believed to have established a base of operations in the north, at Yaroslav, near where Tau-44's initial FOB was constructed. While our relations with the Russians are currently non-hostile, intelligence retrieved thus far indicates that GRU Div-P, along with the locally-stationed Russian VMF and the Taviana government, compiled the anomalous materials and/or entities that have resulted in the unfolding Taviana situation. This should be kept in mind in all dealings with Russian forces. In all other cases, ROE remains UNIVERSAL across the board until further notice. (See: Universal ROE ) Strategic overview and current priorities Tau-44's objective in the campaign area is to investigate and determine the nature of the anomalous threat, as well as Taviana's population, and compile a comprehensive understanding of how and why this situation unfolded. Due to Chaos Insurgency's likely causal involvement in the situation, Tau-44's primary method to achieve our objective is to aggressively pursue CI, drawing conclusions as best as possible as to their objectives in order to deny them wherever possible. Whatever CI want, we will cut them off. Our best information indicates that CI's focus is on Sectors C and D. Tau-44 has made great progress on locating and securing access to Sector C beneath the city of Sabina and a possible entrance to Sector D has been located beneath Lake Bled. The current logistics priority is getting FOB3 - the police station along the Olga River, northwest of Zagorye - up to full operating capacity, and deploying Nu-7 "Hammer Down" forces to support Tau-44 at that position. The current offensive priority is to prosecute intelligence on the possible CI encampment at Chernovar. The current investigative priority is Sector C, followed by Sector D. Known threats Chemical and radiological threats in the upper survivable ranges have been encountered and dealt with at multiple sites across Taviana. CBRNA gear has been made available for instances where Tau-44 must operate within threat zones. Several uncontained anomalous threats have also been encountered, notably: At night, hostile humanoid entities (colloquially referred to as "shadow men" and "deer heads") have attacked Tau-44 operatives; small arms fire has proven effective against these threats. Crawling zombie-like humanoids - assumed to be humans afflicted with the aforementioned chemical threat - tend to crowd around threat zones, specifically Sectors A and B thus far; small arms fire also suffices to dispatch these threats. All forms of synthetic light appear to inflict lethal burns on subjects within the campaign area; avoid use of synthetic lights at all costs, in favour of passive light amplification or chemical/natural light sources (chemlights, fires). Anomalous gravitational zones have been encountered, observable by light refraction through the affected areas. These zones appear to be mobile and due care should be taken to avoid them. Situation Foundation intelligence has been investigating a potential Sarkic cult taking root in our backyard. Thanks to a phone tap carried out for us by our friends in Iota-10, the number one suspect behind our newest secret cult is a local mid-level politician, ████ ██████. If it turns out that our suspect is, in fact, a Neo-Sarkite, we want proof so we can arrange to have him taken out and get this cult dispersed. Nobody wants a Lovecraftian flesh-cult operating in suburban America for any longer than we have to. Iota-10 gave us a few leads on where we might be able to find the evidence we're looking for. Mobile Task Force Epsilon-6 "Village Idiots" will deploy in plain clothes to shake down a few unsavory individuals and carry out some light breaking-and-entering. Once you all can nail this guy to the wall, we can call in Xi-8 to politely evict Sarkicism... again... from American soil. Groups of Interest The Sarkic Cults Execution Task 1 Team-1 and Team-2 are to track down two individuals who are suspected members of the local cult and interrogating them about the cult, its leadership and any potential locations being utilised by the cult. Target One Target One is Dayton Hall. A former police officer turned criminal who is now associated with the Elaine County Cult. Dayton was ejected from the police force after being found guilty on charges of corruption in connection with a ring of local politicians who were found to be actively running a drug and weapons trafficking scheme, supplying cartels in Mexico through Louisiana and Texas. All police officers involved in the cover up and politicians involved in the scheme were given relatively insignificant jail sentences. Dayton is suspected of using his existing connections within the police force and local government to smuggle drugs and other elicit goods into Elaine County. Iota-10 notified us of an ongoing investigation into Dayton. It is suspected that he is utilising the income from this operation to help fund the Elaine County cult.  Dayton is known to be tight lipped and aggressive. He may prove difficult to apprehend. Attempt to question him about cult members/leadership, locations and about the cult itself. Enhanced interrogation methods may be required to coax any answers out of him. Target Two Target Two is Corey Johnson. A known fixer, Corey has a well established reputation in Elain County for organising deals between local gangs and securing hard to obtain items for anyone who is willing to pay his asking price.  Corey is suspected of smuggling firearms and explosives in Arkansas and neighbouring states, as well as selling and distributing firearms to various individuals and gangs. Iota-10 notified us of an ongoing investigation into Corey. Corey is not believed to be directly associated with the Elaine County cult but he has been seen dealing with Dayton Hall on numerous occasions. Corey is known to be a man of few words and is quite slippery. Apprehension may prove challenging.  Attempt to question him about any recent weapons deals with the cult, as well as any locations he may be aware of. If he refuses to answer any questions attempt to use his brother, Toby Johnson as leverage. He is currently held at the Elain County maximum security prison, use this information as you wish. Situation Last week, Mobile Task Force Epsilon-6 "Village Idiots" found something that's got O4 spooked. Spooked enough that this week, we have a personal request from the newly appointed Director of the Red Drake Incident Group (RDIG). This is big - it's not every day the O4 Council appoints an incident response group, and never this quick on the turnaround. The item Epsilon-6 found is a letter from someone calling themselves "Red Drake". In the letter, Red Drake appeals for help spreading some kind of material into the regional water supplies. Red Drake promises that in doing so, the cultists will be directly contributing to the coming "Apotheosis". In the letter, the material is referred to as "Still Water". RDIG want us on the scene to enact a series of lightning raids on sites identified as likely to be housing this "Still Water", whatever it turns out to be. Mobile Task Force Tau-44 "Phalanx" will deploy in full assault loadout, with full anomaly detection equipment and CBRNA gear on standby if necessary. We will then carry out our raids, kill anyone in our way, retrieve the objective, and return to a designated Foundation black site with it. O4 have pulled some serious strings on behalf of RDIG - so we're not going to have to worry about local law enforcement on the night. Epsilon-6 is on standby to corral any errant civilians and try to keep them out of our hair. Our job is simple: get in, retrieve Still Water, and get home. Be ready, though; all of the big wigs are treating this like it might just end up being not so simple at all. Stage 1 - Canada Raid Canada Raid Stage 1 Situation Excuse the informality of this briefing gentlemen but I have a fire lit under by arse by a very anxious O4. For several months now highly coordinated and well executed strikes against secure sites have been plaguing the Foundation across the globe. So far three sites have been massacred to the last man and two more have suffered ~75% loss of site staff. These sites have primarily been lightly defended and relatively unimportant facilities, except for the most recently attacked one. Initially it was theorized that the attacks were being coordinated by the Chaos Insurgency, however while the Chaos Insurgency does, in general, desire the destruction of the Foundation; so far none of the attacks have resulted in a loss of any artifacts or technology. It appears as though the only goal of the attackers is to eliminate foundation personnel. Ultimately these attacks are of no consequence as it is easy enough to replace people and has no impact on the overall operational status of the Foundation. It has however piqued the curiosity of the O4 council who believe something more is potentially at play here than a simple desire to terminate as many scientists and janitors as possible. Until a few hours ago we had little more than surveilance images of the attackers, but a four man intelligence team has been following the situation since it became a concern and have been attempting to gather something of substance to bring to command. Their attempts have finally begun to bear fruit, having intercepted several abnormal sattelite phone calls from a location in Kimmirut, a remote area in North East Canada. A small facility dedicated to reasearching still water victims is located suspiciously close to the origin of these calls. The content of these calls are of little use due to the usage of a currently untranslated code language, with much of the calls being entirely nonsensical but spoken in deliberate tones - suggesting intentional usage of code language. The calls did however provide an opportunity to triangulate a position. Which is where we come in. O4 has given us the task of exploiting this intelligence as rapidly as possible, idealy within the week. Due to your recent return from Africa and no active tasking as of now, I am assigning Detachment one the mission. Mission Operation Enigma's mission goal is to locate, identify and destroy all involved in an ongoing, coodinated effort to undermine and damage foundation operations. This will be a combined operation between Mobile Task Force Tau-44 and Task Force Enigma, a 4 man human intelligence team. TF Enigma has identified two target locations in Kimmirut, designated Compound South and Compound East. You are tasked with killing or capturing everyone within these locations and attempting to gather further intelligence on any additional cells, motive and origin of the attackers. Both compounds are heavily guarded and defended by AA emplacements littered throughout the hills around them. Additionally horseback patrols of 8-10 men have been noted throughout the region, with reconaisance groups setting up across the water from Sheer Test Site to frequently spy on it from a distance.  Administration/Logistics Rules of Engagement: Universal ROE Prisoners of War, Enemy Prisoners of War: Depending on the duration of the operation a secure location may need to be established until extraction can be organised. Stage 2 - Greenland Raid Greenland Raid Stage 2 Situation Your mission was ultimately a success, we did not learn much if anything other than the capabilities of who we are up against. It is obvious that there is more at play here than meets the eye. If it was not obvious, you came into contact with what we assume to be a type green coordinating with what proved to be a well coordinated and aggressive force - but you made it out mostly in one piece. Until Taskforce Enigma comes up with something we are at a loss and currently have no further leads. However right now none of that matters as one of our own is currently being held captive. As I am sure you are aware, Pilgrim went missing close to extraction and was spotted being loaded into a helicopter. That helicopter was tracked to a location nearby where we believe he was then loaded into a different aircraft before then being flown to a remote location in Western Greenland. His tracker, which suspiciously was never turned off, led us to a location high in the mountains at which point we lost connection to the tracker. We suspect that he was likely taken into a subterranean area. Around the time of extraction all radio nets, including ours back at home were flooded by a message, very clearly intended to taunt us. That paired with the unexplained capture of Pilgrim leads us to believe that you are likely walking into a trap, but we look after our own. I swear...I promise...maybe...probably Stage 3 - Scotland Raid Scotland Raid Stage 3 Situation Well gentlemen, some of you just made it out of there on time. About 40 seconds after your extraction we detected an 100 megaton detonation originating from the mines - rendering much of greenland uninhabitable for some time. An explosion like that has obviously caught the publics eye but O4 isn't concerned about it, current public story being spread is old US nukes gone bad with no one being aware they were there. Some of you wont have updated memory of the operation and likely never will, its been deemed too dangerous to retrieve the remnants of those of you who perished so refer to your team after action reports for some idea of what happened. The hostiles encountered were highly organised, motivated and clearly fanatical. The current working theory is that they are linked to the Templars, however we pounded them into the dirt leaving not very much behind so it makes it hard to be sure that its them. I have heard ruminations regarding Arthur, he is not behind this. Eggheads have confirmed that figments of what remained of arthur are embedded within SCP-8007 , manifesting whenever zones are tampered with. You personally experienced this phenomenon recently. This is definitely something or someone different. Additionally, Pilgrim has been thoroughly interrogated, we are sufficiently positive he is of sound mind and he will be returning to active duty. Its likely he was amnesticised so he has no recollection of any information he divulged. What he does know is this: jester mask you encountered in canada was present in greenland and was likely onboard the helicopter that left the mine, he was also responsible for potentially extracting information from pilgrim - apparently through oneiromancy of some kind. To prevent further leaks of information via this method, standing orders are to commit suicide rather than be captured - by any means nessecary. In other news, your next mission: While following up on a lead in central london, taskforce enigma discovered the presence of several hostile fighters in an adjacent hotel room to one they had commandeered. Hacking into the hotels network, Agent Deacon was able to remote access the phone of one of the assailants, granting him access to his private messages amongst other information. One such messaging application being used provided an IP address which agent deacon capitalised on and began the process of tracing it. The ip address was being spoofed however he was able to find the origin of it, leading to an internet cafe in a town on the mull of kintyre of scotland. Immediately upon tracing the intel, a foundation long range reconnaissance drone already orbiting the nearby area was dispatched to monitor the internet cafe. An individual with a laptop exited the cafe and was picked up by a black SUV with two armed individuals driving the vehicle. The vehicle was followed to a nearby wooded area where the drone lost visual before then picking up three separate vehicles leaving the area. Unable to trace all three, an additional nearby drone was dispatched to follow the second vehicle. The third was however lost and unable to be relocated. One vehicle was followed to a nearby town where 8 masked individuals exited the vehicle and entered the house where they currently remain and have remained since initial discovery. Using onboard LIDAR scanning, the drone was able to discover the beginning of an underground area below the house but was unable to penetrate beyond a few metres underground. The second vehicle was followed to an agricultural compound, with the vehicle being deposited in a barn. Prior to waving off for refuel, up to 20 individuals were spotted moving in and around the compound. As well as several more vehicles entering the compound before then leaving, including several trucks laden with supplies. While the third vehicle was unable to be followed, it was spotted heading east towards Stewarton. However this has not been confirmed. You will be deploying via the local airport and arriving on a civilian aircraft, at the airport you will be provided with vehicles as well as the location of a safehouse where your requested equipment will be available. Stage 4 - Scotland Infiltration Scotland Infiltration Stage 4 Situation & Mission Good job gentlemen, you absolutely wreaked havok across the Scottish country side and single handedly kickstarted martial law in Scotland. Lets just say my superiors aren't thrilled, by comparison a nuclear detonation in Greenland is significantly easier to cover up than the mess you caused.  On the other hand, we have concrete evidence on who is behind our recent ass pains. The Templars seem to have reencarnated themselves to come back and haunt us. What we still do not know is why and what for, but we think that there is still a way to find out. While you were spelunking command dispatched another drone to monitor the entrance to cave and observed Templars loading the robots into urals before taking off to the south. We believe the other containers left behind also contained robots but they were unable to be loaded and were subsequently scuttled by the explosive that got left behind. The robots that weren't scuttled were split off to various locations, all within range of a port. We believe that they intend on shipping them out of Scotland but martial law put a crimp in that plan and inadvertently has granted us more time to intercept them. Four urals have split off into three locations, one is located at an abandoned farm north of Southend, another is located at a farm south of Achnabraad Glen and the final two are located in a small compound adjacent to a military base at Oitir Mor. The first two should be easy enough to strike, however the third target is a bit of a predicament. O4 does not want the situation to worsen and be harder to cover up so try your best not to engage with Scottish Armed Forces, however if you are pushed into a corner you are cleared to fire back. Your mission is to strike all three URAL locations and attempt to hack as many robots as possible, command is hoping that the bots are preprogramed with a target and can be used to ascertain where we will be hit next. Once you have gathered what intel you can you are to scuttle the robots and ensure any Templars are left to rot where they stood. Stage 5 - Aurora Labs Raid Aurora Labs Raid Stage 5 Situation All I will say on your prior mission is that we need this next one to be a home run or we are seriously looking at dissolution. There is only so much that can be blamed on terrorists and rogue anomalies. Despite the damage left behind, on a positive note it appears as though you have prevented a plot to attack our homebase before it came to fruition. Obviously they saw us coming as they prepared two decoy locations for us to stumble into, don't think they expected you to make it out of them. We managed to grab the audio messages left for you from some helmet cam footage and clean them up. Attached below for you to laugh at. Amongst the intel gathered by Taskforce Enigma in London was plans for an attack being titled Operation Crusade. Along with the operation plans was an elaborate plot to secretly ship roughly 1000 newly manufactured warbots from the Aurora Labs manufacturing facility in Norway, to Scotland through the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland and then onto the western shore of Zone 51. The robots you found in Scotland were what we believe to the the first 115 delivered from Aurora Labs. Of which only about 20 survived the initial scuttling and then were subsequently destroyed by you. The data you retrieved from the bots before destroying them reinforced TF Enigma's findings as the location programmed into the bots led to the same coordinates (71.5595234,-5.4843957), which leads to an empty portion of sea in all publically available web mapping platforms but is the location of Zone 51. What is ultimately most concerning about all of this situation is the fact that the warbots are coming directly from Aurora Labs, not from a blackmarket or outside dealer. Its both scary and pretty dumb, very little attempt to cover their tracks which has led us right to the source. TF Enigma has also given us the name of the individual responsible for siphoning the bots off of the production line straight to the Templars, however we are not sure if this is confined to a single individual within the company as we are talking about roughly £230 Million British Pounds of robots being siphoned away so far.  For those of you who are unaware who Aurora Labs are, they are a defence technology company specialising in artificial intelligence and robotics intended for combat applications. They supply various nations and organisations including us, the foundation. Due to this fact our raid has been OKed by Norway considering the implications of Aurora Labs dealing with an extremist group such as the Templars. Mission Your mission is to execute a raid on the Aurora Labs research and manufacturing facility in Norway, this mission has full clearance and cooperation from the Norwegian Government and the O4 Council - you will be going in hard and fast with whatever support is nessecary. The Norwegian government has allowed us to utitlise a military base located near the facility, you will be deploying from there. Your primary objectives are as follows: Locate and deactivate Aurora's Artificial Intelligence Node. Transfer Artificial Intelligence to Foundation servers remotely. Terminate Manufacturing of Aurora Warbots Locate and arrest Doctor Steven Trengrove the head engineer of Aurora Norway Your secondary objectives are: Secure Aurora Tower. Secure Aurora Manufacturing Compound. Seize computer data for examination. Install Keylogging and monitoring software on mainframe within Aurora tower. Investigate sensitive storage. Target Layout The 5th, 7th and 8th floors are designated "low importance" storage floors and share identical designs to the 4th floor minus the offshoot high security safe rooms. Each has a crew of 6-8 guards present at all times with rotating staff responsible for archiving things into storage. The facility is guarded by 60 men on the exterior equipped with Aurora's standard issue security equipment. This consists of full body armor rated to stop most pistol caliber threats and a P90 equipped with soft target munitions. A majority of the security officers employed by Aurora are former police officers of the nation they are operating within. They receive no additional combat training upon receiving employment with Aurora. Within the facility is a staff of roughly 40 guards of which 20 are considered "Special Security" officers. These officers are all former military and are equiped with multithreat full body armor, designed to stop rifle rounds as well as protect from some anomalous threats. The standard issue weapon weaponry of these guards is typically some form of 5.56 Rifle. Templar Safehouse Northern Ireland Templar Safehouse Northern Ireland Lead #1 Situation TF Enigma captured an individual from their London mission who has since been interrogated and has provided the location of a safehouse in the UK which they were staying at prior to their move into London.  MTF Iota-10 agents embedded in within the ranks of the British CTSFO conducted a raid on the structure and found it to be empty, having recently been cleaned out. Aurora Bot Storage Aurora Warbot Storage Facility Lead #2 Situation Steven Trengrove is in the process of being interrogated, so far he has not given us anything substantial on his involvement with the templars but he has told us that Aurora Labs has a storage facility nearby the manufacturing facility we raided which likely contains robots that have already been manufactured. Norweigian armed forces launched a raid on the facility and executed a controlled detonation on the structure, destroying what was left behind. No resistance was met. Site 890 Goes Silent Lead #3 Situation Site 890, a containment zone for a classified SCP located deep in the South American jungle has gone silent. For reasons not yet revealed to us, this site was primarily guarded by aurora bots. We havent directly been asked to deal with this situation and an MTF Phi-2 has already been dispatched and is on their way to the location now, however the Aurora bots are our concern. MTF Phi-2 arrived on scene and reported taking immediate armed contact from the perimeter walls of the site, they have reported six dead and nine wounded. They retreated and are awaiting reinforcements, the situation remains unresolved. SCP-610 Containment Breach Detachment 3 Goes Missing Lead #4 Situation At approximately 24:00 hours on the 21/07/22 a containment breach was detected on the perimeter of Site E of SCP-610 's isolation area. Site security located a large hole blown in the perimeter wall and immediately reported the breach, a 'Herbie' unit was dispatched to Site E to search for those responsible for the breach however approximately 280 meters into the breach connection to 'Herbie' was lost. This was not considered immediately abnormal due to poor weather in the area at the time. A further three 'Herbie' units were dispatched and subsequently lost at similar distances into the site. Due to the inability to remotely access the area as a result of abnormal disruptions , Mobile Task Force Epsilon-9 "Fire Eaters" was requested to investigate the breach and ensure no additional spread of 610. Due to the unknown cause and cuplrit of the breach, Epsilon-9 requested reinforcements to deal with any potential 'traditional' threats that may have intentionally breached the perimeter. Detachment 3 of Tau-44 was dispatched due to their proximity and availability at the time. Roughly 27 hours after initial breach, Epsilon-9 arrived at perimeter HQ, an additional two hours after Epsilon-9's arrival Detachment 3 arrived at which point the combined force proceeded into Site E using offroad vehicles provided by Perimeter HQ. Audio and video feeds of each operative was established before being subsequently lost in an identical fashion to that of the prior unmanned attempts to enter the zone, with the signal becoming choppy before failing completely. Remote monitoring of vital signs, Kant counters and BLUEFORCE Tracking were unaffected however.  At the time of signal loss, Hume readings reached upwards of 140 before peaked at 180 at which point audio and video feeds were cut. As Detachment 3 ventured further into the site, Hume levels steadily rose as they approached the central village of Summa. Hume levels peaked at 387 once the team arrived at the perimeter of Summa. Upon reaching the perimeter weather conditions within Site E significantly degraded at an anomalous rate followed by intermittent outages of BLUEFORCE tracking and Kant monitoring. Approximately ~25 minutes after arrival at the perimeter of Summa all vital signs of Epsilon 9 flatlined at the same instant, suggesting a sudden mass-casualty event; Soon after Detachment 3 Team One flatlined. Observation of intermittent BLUEFORCE tracking showed teams two and three of Detachment 3 scattering, with most operatives seperating individually. Within five minutes of this event all remote monitoring went offline following a sudden but short lived power outage at Perimeter HQ, once power was restored all remote tracking was unable to be restored. As a result a state of emergency was declared at the 610 Isolation Site and an open call for any available MTF's to respond was put out. Due to the involvement of our sister detachment we have chosen to respond to the call and attempt to locate them as well as ascertain what exactly occured on location. While this is a detour from currently pressing matters related to Operation Enigma, I believe it is of the utmost importance that we prevent the further loss of personnel within Tau-44 at all costs.  Mission Your mission is to rapidly deploy to Site E and conduct a search and rescue mission for Detachment 3. In addition to your primary SAR tasking, you are to attempt to locate and identify the cause of the breach and the root cause of the reality alterations occuring within Site E. Be aware that Site-E is heavily infested with instances of 610 and will be highly dangerous without the additional reality altering/bending threat present on the ground. Stage 7 - Spelunking Spelunking Stage 7 Situation Well gentlemen things aren't looking terrific, SCP-610 has suffered a severe containment breach and has spread to more neighbouring areas, Epsilon-9 has suffered unrecoverable loses and Detachment 3 have all been declared KIA and are in the process of being reinstated in new bodies but we did get one "win".  Whether intentionally or not, 'Jester' revealed to us where he came from and has potentially given us a way to beat him. It appears that he was a skip being contained within Site-232 and our best pal Arthur broke him out. It appears that Site-232 had more than meets the eye and unbeknownst to me it was not the low security facility it was made out to be. While the upper levels of the facility were used to store safe anomalies, there were highly classified lower levels being used to store a variety of now undocumented skips. Due to current circumstances the powers that be have decided to enlighten me to this fact.  As I am sure you are now aware, Jester sunk 232 into the ground killing everyone within, trapping an untold number of skips and burrying its classified archives with it. While I find it hard to believe, no external backups of these archives were maintained which leads us to our current dilemma.  Command wants us to go spelunking and attempt to extract the archives in the hope that Jester's file survived giving us some insight into how they managed to keep him contained for 20 years. Mission Your mission is to delve into Site 232's ruins and retrieve any files relating to Jester. You will be deploying from Site 231 and using a subterranean access shaft that has been closed off for some time.  The site held a number of anomalies that are now all undocumented, we are also not entirely sure what the physical condition of Site 232 is but we are assuming its not good, various readings have been taken from the exterior and high levels of radiation and other toxins have been picked up. Additionally something is frying certain tech, making the use of night vision impossible - also a base level of 150 hume has been detected in the general area of the site, so expect the unusual. Stage 8 - Groundhog Day Groundhog Day Stage 8? Situation While you were gone a lot has changed. At the same time you began your mission to delve into site 232, templar forces supported by jester launched a covert incursion into the area surrounding the ruins of 232 and planted a large explosive device. Collapsing the ruins further, seemingly intending to trap you down there. Immediately upon completing this task, templar forces dug in near the detonation site. Reactionary forces from 231 responded and were engaged in a drawn out battle, simultaneously strikes were launched on the north and south airbases of zone 51. With both being severely damaged and rendered inoperable, attempts by the templars to capture the airbases failed. For 5 days both sides were in an intense stalemate but templar forces slowly started to collapse until they were reinforced by a small number of aurora war bots, assumed to be the ones we were incapable of destroying in Ireland. What we were not aware of at the time was that a plot had been ongoing in the UK in which SCP-9338 was being used to infect the population, the eggs heads are calling it a hive mind or something - all I know is the poms are mindless slave drones until a solution is found. A military coup was held and control of the UK was transferred to templar leadership with the population being none the wiser. Immediate mobilization of a British Armed Forces expeditionary unit was conducted, on the 8th day of the siege on zone 51, BAF arrived to reinforce the templars at both air bases were overwhelmed. In response, a quick reaction force from Nu-7 was paradropped onto zone 51 to protect site 231 and other strategically important locations on the island. This battle has now been ongoing for a year with Nu7 and templars reinforcing themselves however as it stands, much of zone 51 is held by the templars with pockets of nu7 being focused around strategic sites and no attempts to recover lost areas being made. Similarly, templar forces are simply attempting to wither away nu7 defenses from a distance without conducting any offensive pushes. O4 is seemingly unwilling to provide additional reinforcements to give Nu-7 or Tau-44 the capability to push back the templars. It does not appear that Jester is present on zone 51 anymore and was more than likely only present in the initial assault. Which means that the fight on zone 51 is not your main priority. Your priority is to break out of zone 51 and attempt to locate and destroy jester with the knowledge you now possess. Mission Your overall mission is to attempt to clear a path to the Northern airbase, however due to the number of hostile forces currently present in and around the base, its not feasible to do this on your own - not currently at least, Zone 51 is being blockaded by sea and air so we cannot get supplies or new D Class onto the island and Detachment 4 has been fighting hard while you have been gone, so there aren't many bodies to go around.  Instead you are going to have to play the slow and methodical game, there are various Nu-7 units nearby that are curretly cutoff and running low on supplies. If you can free up these units and get supplies flowing from 231 to their positions, they can help clear a path to the airfield. Additionally, cutting off supplies to the airbase and 'requisitioning' them for our own use will serve to soften the airbase for a potential attack.  Detachment 4 was kind enough to do some recon for us and gather intel on a cutoff Nu-7 position and the corresponding Templar positions surrounding it, you can find that below. Keep in mind, from here on out it will be upto you to gather intel on enemy positions and make your own missions. Detachment 4 is needed south. Detachment 4 recon teams indicate two artillery positions defended by dug in fortifications and roughly a company of infantry surrounding Echo Platoon to the south. Initially a company of Nu-7 was present in this position but it appears that they have dwindled down severely and are just holding on. If you require pictures of the AO, request them in command. Reinforcements Stage 9 Situation For the last few months an informant within the Templar forces has been providing us with intel on troop movements in the south. Most of the time its been uneventful, small movements that are easily dealt with, however Agent Anderton has notified us that following our attack on the artillery positions to our west, British troops to the south have had orders handed down to mobilise two companies of infantry and head north to reinforce the ground betwee us and the northern airbase. Satellite imagery has confirmed this intel and as such it is in our best interest to make sure this never eventuates. Two platoons of tanks and IFV's will be arriving by sea at a location along the western shore, which for the time being is where they mobilised troops will be staying while the vehicles are offloaded and prepared for movement north. Anderton says that we have a 4 hour window to strike once the southern force reaches the offload position, if we wait any longer we will have the entirety of two platoons worth of mobile tanks to handle. He is planning on selling this information to a buyer, who we suspect is likely linked to the Chaos Insurgency. Virgil appears to have been planning this escape from some time, having established several safehouses in Afghanistan as well as hiring local forces and mercenaries to guard them.  Intelligence suggests that as a backup plan, Virgil has paid off the local governer for protection. Rendering the entire AO hostile. Mission & Execution You are tasked with the elimination of Dr. Virgil and the chaos insurgent buyer. Additionally, you are to destroy all backups of the intelligence he had - you will need to extract information regarding the locations of any backups from Virgil before killing him. The exact location of Dr. Virgil is currently unknown, four safehouses have been identified. You are to strike all four until Virgil is located. You will need three distinct teams. Two raid teams to hit target structures, each raid team will have an airframe assigned to them. These teams are to pack light with submachine guns and short barrel rifles. Light armor, opscore helmets etc. High speed low drag, in and out. The third team will be two men, a sniper/spotter team. They will be tasked with the elimination of the buyer and all awaiting guards while the raid teams conduct their missions. As you are aware, we attempted to assasinate Dr. Virgil as a result, however we failed that task due to what we now know to be a well setup decoy. DNA analysis of the corpse found on the runway show that the man in the blue suit was a decoy, one of many we have since discovered. It appears that, Virgil, with the help of the Chaos Insurgency and hired Taliban forces, is still hiding in Afghanistan somewhere but is using decoys to throw us off. 11 sightings of Virgil have been made in in central Afghanistan, however each location is confirmed...at the same time, meaning that a decoy or the real Virgil is present at each and every location.  Mission & Execution You will be raiding each location, killing the decoy (or Virgil) and conducting a dna analysis to determine if it is the real target or not.  7 of the 11 locations are secure compounds, these will need to be raided due to a lack of visibility from the outside, ther other 4 locations however, are less secure and will be tasked to a sniper team. Once eliminated, they will then need to be cleared by a ground team to conduct a DNA analysis on the corpse. Compound Alpha Compound Alpha is a compound located outside of a Taliban held town. The compound itself is also held by Taliban forces. The target moves around the compound frequently. Estimated 10-15 fighters in the compound. 20-30 in the town. Compound Bravo Compound Bravo is a Taliban base, used to dispatch patrols throughout the region. The target resides throughout the compound, frequently moving about. Estimated 15 fighters within the compound, roughly 30-40 men in the surrounding area and town. Compound Charlie Compound Charlie is large mosque being used as a fortress by Taliban forces.  The target resides within the mosque. Roughly 25 fighters in the town and mosque. Compound Delta Compound Echo Compound Foxtrot Compound Golf Sniper Target Alpha Target Alpha is a full military base, HVI moves throughout the compound frequently. Sniper Target Bravo Target Delta is a barracks building located on an oil storage facility, HVI frequents both floors. Sniper Target Charlie Target Charlie is a lone two story structure, HVI is residing on the second floor. Operation Hellfire, Phase 3 Location: South of Pakistan, Unnamed Island, Indian Ocean Situation Dr. Edward Virgil, a high level weapons technology researcher, escaped the foundation with important intelligence regarding several programs within the foundation. He was, however, successfully eliminated. Despite being eliminated however, he was still able to successfully hand over his stolen intel to the Chaos Insurgency. Command initially concluded that the intel was lost for good and would never be recovered. However at 07:30 yesterday, a blip on the foundation global network was noticed. It appears that virgil utilised a foundation made portable hard drive; which by design has a failsafe preventing non-foundation access and automatically uploads a network tracker to the device attempting to access it. The signal was geolocated to a remote island off the shore of Pakistan in the Indian ocean. A satellite was immediately relocated to view the island, finding an enormous fort guarded by the Chaos Insurgency. The fort is occupied by Chaos Insurgents with equipment very similar to what was encounter on Taviana. For future reference, Chaos Insurgents equipped in such a manner will be refered to as Percontor Insurgents. Medium armor and traditional, intermediate cartridge firing weapons. Mission & Execution Detachment one is to breach the fort via a known underwater entrance and locate the storage device, secure it and scuttle all chaos electronics present. The fort has a energy shield preventing aerial attack or ingress into the fort. If air support or air extract is wanted, the power stations on the island will need to be destroyed. Additionally, several anti aircraft locations have been spotted around the island that will need to be destroyed.
