The .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire, also called .22 WMR or .22 Magnum is a rimfire cartridge. It is a high velocity cartridge that is sometimes considered the budget 5.7, offering superior capacity in a handgun (30 rounds in the PMR-30 compared to 20 rounds in the FN Five-seveN) and with the right loads, offering similar ballistic capabilities.
