.454 Casull
Overview
The .454 Casull, is a rimmed, large-bore cartridge originally designed for revolvers. Sometimes referred to as .44 Super Magnum, due to its similar projectile weights but significantly increased velocities. The .454 Casull is considered one of the most powerful handgun cartridges in production. It is primarily used for hunting medium or large game, metallic silhouette shooting, and bear protection.
